Amandla Stenberg Went To Prom with Jaden Smith

Future cult leader and free-spirited teenager, Jaden Smith seems to have attended every prom in the Los Angeles area, wearing increasingly expressive outfits at each prom. On Friday, he went with some fashionable color blocking when he accompanied Hunger Games’ Amandla Stenberg to her prom. Rue’s all grown up, everyone! Stenberg shared the below photo with the caption, “Here’s to high school.”

It’s graduation season, the time of year when celebrities and important news people proffer advice to another wave of young people already drowning in debt (congratulations!). And who better to take advice from than Kanye West? West spoke to L.A. Trade Tech College where he shared gems of wisdom like: “When you’re the absolute best you get hated on the most” and “If it’s in your gut, if it’s in your soul, there’s nothing, there is no worldly possessions that should come between you and your expression.” Still better than most graduation speeches.
